On Sunday March 16, at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink, from 1:45-3:15, volunteers of the Alyus Therapeutic Skating Program skated with children & adults participating in the program.
Every volunteer was paired with a different skater, giving them support and engaging them on the ice. The volunteers made each experience fun, insightful, and safe for each skater. Through the time they had with each skater, the volunteers encouraged each skater to try and learn new things.
The skaters and volunteers had so much fun, and we’re very greatful to everyone who participated in this event and took part in making it an incredible experience.
