Greater Princeton AYLUS Virtue-Tutored “Left-Behind” Students in Jiangxi Province, China on May 5 and 12, 2019

Reported by Cassie Tammy Wang

Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) member Edward Cao Virtue-Tutored a class of students in need of help. Instead of being a one-on-one personal tutor, Edward did English teaching online for a class of elementary students in rural areas of Jiangxi Province, China, on Sunday night (1 hour per lesson).

Most of their students are considered “Left-Behind” children, whose parents have to be away from home to work in the urban areas. It is a great opportunity for our GPA members to contribute their English and Chinese bilingual skills and help such students speak fluent English as well as learn about the actual world.

Date and time Edward Cao served: May 5th, 2019 (1 hour) and May 12th, 2019 (1 hour).

Great work, Edward!
