2/19 PS2 Lunar New Year Celebration

AYLUS Great Neck volunteered at a Lunar New Year celebration at PS2 along with other volunteers.
Volunteers arrived early to help set up and get ready for the main event. The celebration was spilt into two part, the first part was the registration and performance portion and the second part was dinner for the guest. Volunteers were spilt into 3 groups, security, service, general. The security group’s job was to prevent guest from wandering into places they shouldn’t be and act as doormen. The service team ran registration in the first part of the celebration and ran the food service in the second part. The general team did any miscellaneous tasks not cover by the other groups and filled in the other groups where necessary. Overall, AYLUS volunteers showed great initiative and put themselves out there to contribute as much that they possibly can.
