On January 18th, AYLUS Houston hosted its Wonder Kids event, a special inclusive playdate for children with special needs. Held at Katy Christian Community Church, this event featured engaging activities designed to foster creativity, social interaction, and confidence among participants.
This event provided a valuable opportunity for children of all abilities to connect, learn, and grow together, promoting understanding and inclusivity. We are deeply grateful to Katy Christian Community Church for generously providing the venue and for their continuous support. Special thanks also go to the church partners for their uplifting performances, which brought joy to the children and helped foster a sense of community.
Above all, we appreciate the dedication of our volunteers, whose patience and enthusiasm made this event possible. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces reaffirmed our commitment to creating more inclusive experiences in the future, and we look forward to continuing this important mission.
