On November 22, 2018, the Edison Branch of AYLUS’ Victoria He, Prince Hu, Angela Hu Meryl Li and Derick Li volunteered at the New Jersey Veteran’s Memorial Home.
In the afternoon, the Edison Branch of AYLUS helped transport veterans to the main hall to enjoy the Thanksgiving singer that came. While there, volunteers also conversed, and danced, with some of the veterans. After the festivities were over, the volunteers helped bring the elderly back to their rooms and wherever else they may have wanted to go. On a day of giving thanks, the Edison Branch is proud to give back to the community by volunteering to help and support the New Jersey Veteran’s Memorial Home. It’s great to volunteer at our local nursing homes to help the elderly and better your community.
