On February 2nd, 2025, six members of the AYLUS Morrisville Branch volunteered at the annual Astronomy Day (Day 2) at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh. This event is a great way for us to engage with our communities, as it includes numerous technology, telescopes, talks by scientists, and hands-on activities. A variety of asteroids and meteorites, some of the oldest material in our solar system, were also on display for visitors.
We are excited to be a part of such an impactful event in our community to help people of all ages learn more about the exciting world of astronomy!
