Houston Branch Volunteers at Citizens for Animal Protection on January 10th, 2025

On Wednesday, January 10th, AYLUS Houston members returned to Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) to support the shelter’s mission of caring for rescued and abandoned animals. This volunteer session provided another meaningful opportunity to engage with the shelter’s dogs and contribute to their well-being.

During the two-hour visit, volunteers helped walk dogs of various sizes, giving them much-needed exercise and outdoor enrichment. These walks play a crucial role in keeping the animals active, improving their physical and emotional health, and helping them become more comfortable in social settings—all of which increase their chances of adoption.

Citizens for Animal Protection remains dedicated to providing care and finding loving homes for animals in need. AYLUS Houston is honored to support this mission and grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact. We look forward to continuing our partnership with CAP and other organizations committed to animal welfare.

Volunteers (2 hours): Ryan Lin, Annie Li, Stella Zhao, Amy Jiang, Jessie Fang, Haofei Deng, Millie Wu, Ethan Guo, Ruilu Ma
