Since July 2024, AYLUS Pearland has been assisting Project Rise and Shine (PRS) partners in developing and maintaining a couple of responsive and engaging websites to help users learn about partners’ organizations, missions, programs, news, updates, and events.
The websites were first published in September 2024. After several months of operation and fine-tuning, they ran smoothly, with their intended features functioning as expected. In January 2025, while the web team continued regular maintenance tasks such as updating news, events, and database content, they also focused on integrating a chatbot to help users retrieve information more easily.
A prototype chatbot was successfully developed and tested using static data from one of
the websites. Its basic functions were implemented and validated, and the team identified
several areas for improvement.
