On January 25th, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, members of the AYLUS Bellaire branch volunteered at Freewheels Houston.
Volunteers were assigned to work on cleaning and repairing broken bikes back into a usable shape for those needing a mode of transportation. Volunteers removed the wheels of the bike and proceeded to clean the body of the bike through removing rust, grim, dirt, etc.. Bikes were further worked on by volunteers, who replaced faulty equipment such as brakes, handles, bike tires, and seats.
