Riverside County AYLUS Members Craft Toys for Animals Affected by the Wildfires During the Month of January 2025

In response to the devastating wildfires in Southern California and their impact on both people and animals, members of the RCA branch took action to support affected pets. Recognizing the challenges faced by animals suffering from burns and other injuries, the group decided to create dog toys for the affected animals. Additionally, they organized a separate fundraiser to support the Pasadena Humane Society, which, operating at full capacity, took in many displaced and injured animals.

The members began crafting the toys individually during the week and later gathered to complete them together. Through these handmade toys, they aim to bring comfort and joy to traumatized animals, contributing to their healing and recovery.
