On Dec 15th, 2024, eight members of the Forsyth County AYLUS chapter worked to organize items and perform tasks at a local thrift store, The SHOP at CHM:

- Success: We successfully completed tasks given by staff members for four continuous hours and received positive feedback on our work.
Forsyth County AYLUS hopes to impact local businesses positively with its events. We volunteered at The SHOP at CHM in an effort to alleviate any excess work they may have. During the four-hour time period, AYLUS members performed tasks such as moving mannequins, pricing photo frames, organizing hats, vacuuming, and sorting books into boxes. We moved items across floors and discarded/recycled/kept items in a sorting process. The feedback we received indicated that our contributions were helpful to the staff members, who already had a lot on their hands. Overall, AYLUS members had a good time while also working hard to support a local business.
