Columbus Branch Performed at Seton North Senior Center Holiday Performance on December 22nd, 2024

From 4:00 – 5:30 PM, on Saturday, December 21st, volunteers from the AYLUS
Columbus Branch held a Holiday performance at the Seton Square North Retirement facility.
This year had an even greater turnout than the past 2 years! In addition to the popular audience,
the senior center was kind enough to provide refreshments for the seniors to enjoy during the
performance. This event was organized by one of the members, Enoch, and his mother. The
volunteers were truly able to share their talents through music all-the-while bringing together the
community. We were also fortunate enough for a local Kung Fu instructor to come by and bring
a lively energy to the event, displaying Taiji and a heart racing kungfu show! Although the
performance dragged past 5, the residents continued to enjoy the music. The volunteers
played solo or in ensembles from various genres, including pop, classical, and holiday songs.
We received a lot of positive feedback with the audience being able to express their
gratefulness to many of our volunteers!
