On December 14, 2024, the AYLUS Twin Cities Branch members went to Kowalski’s Markets in Edina to help fundraise for ICA from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, totaling 4 hours. The volunteers helped customers carry their groceries out, put away carts, and send groceries out. After the event came to a close, we managed to raise just under $1000, an incredible accomplishment. We hosted a successful fundraiser, and it was fantastic donating the money to ICA, a local food shelf dedicated to fighting for food security. Interacting with the customers was very special, knowing that the customer’s generosity would feed the community, making the experience even better.
