On December 21th 2024, Murrieta AYLUS volunteered at the STAT Horse Sanctuary.
Starting with one of the skittish horse’s stalls, they made sure to keep a safe distance and cleaned along the main areas. Afterwards, they made their rounds to the other horse stalls in the area, shoveling each stall individually before dumping their wheelbarrows in the main pile along the fence. After getting the horses done, they fed a few of them to acclimate the newcomers, before moving on to the pig areas. They cleaned out the waste and pet some of the non-sleeping pigs before saying goodbye to all the animals.
