On December 7 2024, members of AYLUS Greater Buffalo Branch are proud to have volunteered for 2024 Polar Plunge. Special Special Olympics New York provides inclusive opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities, who compete in Olympic-style, coached sports. This year they raised more than $466,000 for these wonderful people! Volunteers were tasked with selling the raffle tickets by walking around the parking lot and tent to sell them. They worked very hard , their sneakers got very wet and cold. The volunteers hardworkingly sold more than $500 raffle tickets in from 9AM to 3PM (+ 1 hour for preparing).
