On November 23, AYLUS Houston hosted its twelfth SMILE Inclusive Playdate for special needs children. Held at Katy Christian Community Church, the event contained four stations : emotional expression, kitchen, puzzle games and board games. These activities are carefully selected to ensure that every child can participate and have a good time, so that they can all get a sense of achievement in the different stations.
This activity provides a nurturing environment for children with special needs to develop social expression and communication skills, and allow them to express their own ideas and needs. This activity allows children of different abilities to understand, accept and share with each other.
We are grateful to Katy Christian Community Church for their understanding and generosity in providing the venue for this event; Thanks also to the church partners, whose songs and interesting performances also attracted the special needs children who attended, and made us more understand and appreciate the Christian culture; We would also like to thank our volunteers whose dedication and patience made this event a great success. In addition, we are grateful for the opportunity to provide support and joy to children with special needs, and we remain committed to this important work.
The joy of the children is the best sign of the success of our Playday, and we look forward to organizing more inclusive events for those in need in the future.
