On November 25, 2024, volunteers from the AYLUS Raritan Valley group went down to the Civic Center fire station to deliver pizza and show our gratitude towards the firemen. Once we arrived there, we settled the pizza down and took a few pictures. While waiting for further instructions, volunteers talked with the firefighters. After waiting a couple of minutes, one firefighter announced that they were currently busy producing a video for a major community event and could not initiate a tour for us around the firehouse. After taking a couple of official pictures and signing a card for the firefighters, we parted ways and announced our farewells.
It was a wonderful experience to meet these firefighters firsthand and Aylus Raritan Valley wishes to do so in the future!
