This Sunday, a group of volunteers visited a local nursing home to distribute world peace ribbons and entertain the residents there. The first five volunteers who arrived were brought upstairs to the third floor, where they proceeded in passing time with a group of residents by playing a game involving rolling a marble across the table into assorted cups. Then, after taking a short break, the residents set up a game of Bingo. Volunteers played along with the residents and kept them company to a great extent, with even one volunteering to lead and manage the game. AYLUS members painted and chatted amongst the seniors in the second group of volunteers to celebrate World Peace Day. Then, we brought the activities downstairs to play Pokeno, a different version of Bingo. At the event, two hours passed by in a breeze.
