On 11/9/24 AYLUS Syosset branch headed over to King Kullen in the morning and afternoon to promote Long Island Care for Thanksgiving. Long Island Care is an organization that works to feed family across the Island. There At King Kullen, volunteers handed out lists of non- perishable items to customers to the King Kullen supermarket, non-perishable items like canned foods and raw pasta!! The volunteers stood around collecting these non-perishables in boxed containers and held onto them till the end of the shift. AYLUS stayed from as early as 9 am in the morning to 4 pm in the afternoon! With the help of AYLUS Long Island Care was able to deliver many more meals to those who need it the most for Thanksgiving.
