On 10/26/24, AYLUS Syosset participated in the farmer’s market at Eisenhower Park. The farmer’s market is a place for local small businesses to come together and share their products. Ranging from crochet goods to dog treats, the farmer’s market never fails to provide something for everyone. In addition, local produce is always offered where guests can purchase fresh groceries and flowers every single week. In addition, there are guest performers providing music contributing to the serene atmosphere of the market.
This week was the final session of the farmer’s market where volunteers helped set up various stands and tables. Volunteers helped keep track of the amount of guests that visited the market and also kept the activities center organized, a table perfect for adolescent visitors to take a break and have fun. Nearing the end of the day, volunteers took down everything wrapping up the season.
