On 10/12/24, AYLUS Great Neck held a Book Buddies program celebrating AAPI at the Great Neck Library Parkville branch. From 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, our volunteers helped set up the event and recruited kids at the library to join. Our volunteers read picture books celebrating AAPI, diversity, and inclusion, and engaged in arts and crafts. They created mini clay figures of themselves to celebrate diversity, and made rabbit lanterns.
