The AYLUS Dix Hills Branch volunteers at Bethpage state park to participate in the Parks for Pollinators Bioblitz Campaign. For the month of September, observations of pollinators have been compiled for Bethpage State Park on iNaturalist. Volunteers helped find and take pictures of different species of pollinators that contributed to the environment there. Volunteers found a variety of animals, including bees, moths, lanternflies, and even a decapitated rabbit corpse! Volunteers worked from 9:30 to 11:30 to help take pictures of unique bugs for scientists to study.

Volunteers: Bryan Fan (2.5 hrs), Jonathan Fan (2 hrs), and Jake Wu (2 hrs).
