On 9/21/2024, Emma Zhang from AYLUS’s Greater Buffalo Branch volunteered at Buffalo’s local soup kitchen to help individuals and families who are socioeconomically disadvantaged through lower income and homelessness. She helped create and serve the meals to create a sense of community inside of the kitchen that extends its arms to everyone who walks in for nourishment, community support and understanding as families get back on their feet to jump start a new life.
