On August 31st, AYLUS Oyster Bay successfully completed a two-hour back-to-school backpack drive and giveaway at Douglaston, Queens, in cooperation with congressional candidate Mike LiPetri and NY State Senator Yiatin Chu. The event began at 11:00 AM when volunteers arrived. They set up tables and arranged a variety of backpacks with different designs, styles, and colors for kids of all ages. Following instructions from our team, the giveaway began at 11:30 AM, with kids and parents forming a line in front of the table, excited to choose their favorite backpacks. This event helped families in need gain easier access to school supplies.
