On August 19th, starting at 6:30 PM and ending at 9 PM, we sorted bedding materials donated by a local company. These were to be used for our garage sale, which fundraises for the Loops for Love project. They were sorted both by new or used and type of material. We were under a pavilion in 105° heat, but regardless, we worked hard and provided ice-cold refreshments to everyone as they worked. It took teamwork to be able to sort tons of packages into boxes, and it took teamwork to be able to carry those heavy boxes to the car’s trunk. Together, 16 volunteers sorted the bedding material into a total of 20 boxes!
