Today, August 3, we held the ShineALight Award ceremony. The ShineALight Award is an initiative of the US-China Next Generation Education Foundation (NGF). It aims to recognize and support exceptional young people who demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, and contributions to their communities.
We were honored to have three special guests: Ms. Pam, Ms. Kathy, and Ms. Gloria, join us for the awards ceremony. Ms. Pam and Ms. Kathy are the President and Vice President of the DFW Branch of the NGF, respectively. Ms. Gloria is the Advisor of the Aylus Frisco & Plano Branch and a board member of AYLUS National.
The ceremony began with two speeches. The first was delivered by Miss Jenny Wang, the Founding President of the AYLUS Frisco and Plano Branch. She shared insights into Aylus’ mission and the steps we’ve been taking to achieve our goals. Then, Ms. Pam gave a speech to recognize the exceptional dedication and hard work of our volunteers, congratulate Aylus members on their awards, and encourage continued commitment and excellence. The speeches truly inspired everyone.
After the opening remarks, the award recipients went on stage one by one to receive their certificates from our three special guests. We then took a group picture and concluded by thanking Ms. Pam, Ms. Kathy, and Ms. Gloria for their support.
