Oakland Gardens Branch Color a Smile 3 (8/4/2024)

This is the 103rd event held by AYLUS Oakland Gardens. On August 4th, 2024, AYLUS Oakland Gardens members had another Color-A-Smile event. Our president also gave some important information during that event.

To review, Color-A-Smile is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading smiles to the sick, the elderly, and our veterans. To spread smiles, people print out and color images from the website, hence the name. After that, they mail them to the Color-A-Smile headquarters to either store or give to people.

Our members joined a google meet and turned their cameras on to prove they were coloring. Everyone colored at least 3 pictures to donate. We wanted to help the community even though it was way too hot outside. During this event our president also told us to join the monthly meeting as it contained important information. Once we were done coloring the pictures, we could show the camera (and everyone else) what we colored. During the next in-person event, they would bring in their pictures to give to the parent advisor team. When we are done with the Color-A-Smile events, they will mail it to the Color-A-Smile headquarters.
