Missouri City Branch member Ryan Tang participated in the Friends of the Library program at University Branch Library on July 29, 2024.
The purpose of the Friends group is to provide volunteer services, educational activities, and books and other materials not covered by county funds to the University Branch Library. Ryan solicited from friends and families and collected 100+ new and used hardback and paperback books in good condition, including sets of books, DVDs, and CDs. He sorted the books and donated to the library. The entire time for collecting books and donation took 5 hours.
