Oakland Gardens Branch Shares Happiness at Crocheron Park (07/25/2024)

This is the 95th event held by AYLUS Oakland Gardens. On Thursday, July 25, 2024, AYLUS Oakland Gardens went to Crocheron Park to learn how to make balloons.

Almost everyone that attended this event knew how to make simple balloon animals as they came to our last event, but some people didn’t. Our parent advisor, Fannie, and some other members taught them how to tie balloons and make simple balloon animals. Some of the balloons were dogs, cat ear headbands, swords, bears, and more. Even though a lot of the balloons popped, everyone had a lot of fun learning.

Once a lot of the balloons were made, we gave them away to kids at the park. They were delighted to have balloons. A lot of them thanked us and went off to play with the balloons.

Our members had a lot of fun doing this event. We’d like to thank Fannie for bringing all of the balloons.
