On Saturday, June 1st, 2024, members Hannah Wang and Enoch Chung volunteered with the Miracle League of Central Ohio at Darree Fields. The Miracle League aims to help level the playing field for athletes with mental and physical challenges by creating a unique and fun way to play baseball, with the help of volunteers guiding players. This week was especially heartwarming, watching all the volunteers and athletes able to build bonds whether through the game or simple conversations. For the first game, there was a surplus of volunteers, however for the preceding games, both volunteer’s help were impactful. Overall, the event was great, with both volunteers able to better the community and learn a great deal from the experience.
