Morrisville Branch Volunteered at For Girls Like Q Mentoring Program on June 1st, 2024

On June 1st, 2024, five members of the AYLUS Morrisville Branch volunteered at the For Girls Like Q Mentoring Program. This program is to strengthen, encourage, empower and inspire young girls with life challenge to be their authentic selves, make positive choices and reach their fullest potential. The vision of For Girls Like Q Mentoring Program is to transform the lives of young girls who face challenging situations through mentorship. Our volunteers hosted a Entrepreneur 101 Workshop to help kick off the EntreprenHER Series that will carry over into the fall and culminate with the girls launching their businesses at the Western Wake Children’s Business Fair. The invited guests shared with the girls how they started their business and stories behind their business. Out volunteers interviewed the guests and helped answering questions from participants in the For Girls Like Q Mentoring Program.
