On May 19th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS lended a hand to local senior centers.
Beginning the morning by leading the residents through Tai Chi, the residents then split up to go outside or stay indoors. While some residents enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air, others preferred to enjoy their snack indoors. Splitting attention between both inside and outside, the volunteers supervised the residents in case of any accidents, taking some of the residents on walks around the courtyard. After the residents enjoyed their time outdoors and the foliage, the volunteers took them back inside for lunch.

On May 19th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS volunteered at their local senior center.
Members signed in before heading to their assigned volunteer rooms, the library and ice cream parlor. In the ice cream parlor, members cleaned their hands before preparing the materials needed. In the library, members played the piano for the seniors, incorporating some of the more popular song requests seniors asked for before. Members cleaned up both their areas and said goodbye to the seniors before they left.
