AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers Rally for Community at ALFC Generosity Center on 09/23/2023
On September 23, 2023, a dedicated group of ten AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch volunteers, all middle and high school students, gathered at the ALFC Generosity Center. Their mission was clear: to support their community through a significant food distribution event, providing much-needed assistance to those in need.
The event kicked off at 8:00 AM, with volunteers quickly organizing into an efficient team ready to tackle the day’s tasks. The center was abuzz with activity as cars lined up, each waiting to receive a variety of essential food items, from fresh produce to non-perishable goods. The volunteers, equipped with a spirit of service and teamwork, worked diligently to ensure that each vehicle left with enough supplies to support the families relying on this essential service.
Despite the challenges of managing such a vast operation, the volunteers showcased their commitment and hard work, moving and organizing food items with precision and care. Their efforts were driven by the desire to make a tangible difference in their community, highlighting the impact that young people can have when they come together for a common cause.
As the event drew to a close at 12:30 PM, the volunteers reflected on the significance of their work. The gratitude expressed by the recipients was a powerful reminder of the value of community service, reinforcing the volunteers’ dedication to continuing their efforts in the future.
The ten volunteers who participated in this event were Bryan Wang, Tommy Tang, Zixuan Wang, Ryan Wang, Xia Ning, Zhu Zhu, Waiki Hou, Xinnuo Huang, William Kong, each contributed 5 hours of their time, , and Qinran Zhang contributed 4 hours .
