Evan Chang, Sophie Chung and Sierra Kuseck volunteered at a local food bank (CMOH) on January 12th. The members worked on getting the food out from the fridge and onto the different shelves. The next thing they worked on was to organize the items by product category. Once that was done, they filled the different donation boxes with items such as bread, sweet baked goodies and fruits among others. As new items arrived, they continued with the same task of sorting through and putting them onto the shelves and into the boxes. The boxes were then put onto several wagons and pushed out into the parking lot where they were distributed to several vans and individual cars. Some of them were distributed to the homeless outreach center. At the end the group finished their work by cleaning up the workspace.
