On November 10th 2023, Piedmont Triad NC Branch organized a “Give A Kid A Coat” donation drive at Wenhua Chinese School. President Michael Shen contacted local Salvation Army and a Clean World to set up the event. All members of the branch participated the drive. “Give A Kid A Coat” is a local program that solicits coat donations from area residents to give to those in need, received 18,726 coats in 2023. Since its inception, over 966,000 coats have been collected and cleaned for Give A Kid A Coat. In this donation drive, we received about 70 coats from many donors. Most of the donners are parents from the Chinese school.
