Frisco & Plano Branch members collected donations for sale and raised funds to support Plano Children’s Medical Center foundation, address is P.O. Box 847253, Dallas TX 75248, email is giving @childrens.com, contact name is Carolyn Allsup and phone number is 214 456 8360.
On October 28th 2023, we received a special order of our famous delicious egg tarts. Our team member was able to get them baked in the early morning and delivered to the predetermined location.
On October 29th 2023, we helped throw a birthday party in Lexington country. We made balloons for the car themed party, along with offering the kids free cotton candy! The event was surprisingly not too demanding and we had more than enough balloons and cotton candy for the kids. Thus although there were only four of us there, we were able to keep up with the party’s demands very well. However halfway through, kids stopped asking for car and halloween themed balloons and wanted swords, and although it’s not exactly what we prepared for, we were able to fulfill their wishes. We didn’t make any profits to go to the Plano Children’s Medical Center Foundation, as we weren’t selling anything, but we did have plenty of parents interested in our volunteering program, possibly requiring our help in the future. Overall the event was very successful and we all learned how to make new kinds of balloons for future events.
