On September 30th, 2023, volunteers from AYLUS Cheshire Branch volunteered at the local Yellow House. The Yellow House is a non-profit organization that is part of Cheshire’s town services. The Yellow House hosts a daycare for children, this one being a focus on youth literacy. Volunteers did 1-on-1 reading and gave assistance to the kids to make their experience at the Yellow House more fun and engaging. They did not permit us to take pictures of the kids due to privacy and security concerns. They will take pictures and provide them to us next week when we volunteer again.
