On May 27th, 2023, West Essex AYLUS members offered special needs children a modified lesson of basic volleyball skills. Members started the lesson with warm up games to avoid injuries. Then members showed participating children some volleyball skills. Based on participating children’s skill level, members decided to focus on passing the ball among players. While playing volleyball, members also helped children practiced communication and social skills.
