In the afternoon on September 27, AYLUS Manhasset inducted Alex Chen into our organization. She and her mom had brought some flowers over for us to sell. Over the course of a little more than an hour, we worked to separate the plants into individual containers to get ready for fall, and possibly the following spring. After all the plants were brought into the sunroom, we cleaned up and discussed our future plans. For thanksgiving, we plan to buy cards and more flowers for EMS responders, and as a nonprofit organization AYLUS Manhasset needed a way to fundraise in order to garner the money necessary to make the purchases.
