Description of the Main Line Branch

In the summer of 2022, four high school students founded the Main Line branch in Pennsylvania. Our goal is to strengthen the bond of our community and improve the livelihood of its members through creative and flexible volunteering opportunities. As a local student-run organization, we aim to build a collaborative platform in which all students who will contribute to a greater cause can do so through direct action: volunteering at local nonprofit organizations, creating our own charities, and offering developmental lessons to younger peers. We also believe that empowering nonprofits in Main Line area will promote solidarity as a community and sustainability of the environment. Potential sources of volunteering include helping food banks and nursing homes, cleaning up parks, running community events, hosting school projects, and organizing our own drives (toy, books, clothes, food, etc.). In addition, as aspiring leaders who are passionate in teaching and engaging with students, we plan to offer tutoring sessions on a variety of subjects ranging from art to public speaking to coding. We want to revitalize the definition of volunteering by emphasizing that it can be done by anyone, as long as they have a heart to give to the community. Want to join in on the action?
