Raritan Valley Branch Participated in the Summer Letters of Love Project Hosted by Grace Healthcare Services at the East Brunswick Public Library on July 17th 2022

On July 17th, members of AYLUS’s Raritan Valley Branch gathered in the East Brunswick Public Library to make cards for the Summer Letters of Love project. Grace Healthcare Services will then collect the cards and distribute them to their patients, to let them know they are thought of and loved.

In the end, the volunteers made 36 unique cards to give to the Summer Letters of Love project.

On July 27th, the volunteers drove to the Grace Healthcare Services office located in Edison to drop off the cards. A worker from the organization explained that they provide comfort to their patients who suffer from chronic illnesses, thus the cards that volunteers from AYLUS Raritan Valley constructed will have a positive impact on the patients. In the future, volunteers are always welcome to make cards for patients during the holidays, such as Christmas.
