On March 10, 2026, volunteer members of Aylus gathered at the Great Neck Station Library for their bi-weekly tutoring session. The evening was a success thanks to the hard work of the tutees and tutors. As a result, a wide array of subjects was covered–including mathematics, history, and science. For instance, members helped students master complex and intricate math problems. Through thorough explanations and repeated practice problems, the tutees gained a deep understanding of the task. Tutors also helped students understand important historical topics. To conclude the session, students and tutors collaborated to discuss climate-induced effects in Earth science – including weathering and erosion. Overall, the session was a major success thanks to the efforts of volunteers and students.
