On March 1, 2026, members of our Chapel Hill branch completed a flower delivery service project to support seniors at Charles House.
Volunteers Leah Yang and Irena Gao picked up fresh flowers from Trader Joe’s. After carefully loading and organizing the flowers into their vehicle, they delivered them to Charles House in Chapel Hill. The flowers will be used by the senior residents during their flower arrangement class, providing them with a creative, engaging, and uplifting activity.
Flowers have a special way of bringing smiles and warmth. Through this simple yet meaningful act, our volunteers helped brighten the day of many seniors. Leah and Irena were happy to serve, knowing that something as thoughtful as fresh flowers could make a positive difference.
Our volunteers consistently sign up for delivery tasks nearly every Sundays, demonstrating their ongoing dedication to community service and their commitment to supporting local seniors.
Volunteers who participated in this event were: Leah yang (03/01/2026, 1 hour), Irena Gao (03/01/2026, 1 hour)
