From December 24, 2025, to February 21, 2026, members of the AYLUS worked together to prepare for an upcoming Middle School Youth Fun Day, coordinating logistics, designing materials, and organizing supplies to ensure a successful event.
Planning began with three preparation meetings held at Wegmans on 12/24/2025, 1/15/2026, and 2/21/2026, where volunteers discussed event logistics, responsibilities, and activity planning. On 1/11/2026, volunteers visited and evaluated the Clarence Church of Christ to assess the event space and finalize planning details.
Volunteers also designed and revised the event flyer, selected prizes, and planned the event budget on 1/17/2026; created the AYLUS volunteer sign-up link, QR code, and volunteer waiver on 2/8/2026; and assembled materials such as the event prize wheel. Volunteers also coordinated equipment rentals and purchased candies, prizes, food, and tableware, including final supply shopping completed on 2/21/2026.
