San Diego AYLUS Prepared Homemade Food for Huaxia Chinese School Lunar year Celebration Event on February 14, 2026

To celebrate the 2026 Chinese Lunar New Year, Huaxia Chinese School organized a celebration event at Oceanair Creation Park, San Diego. On February 14th, the day before the event ,  members of the AYLUS San Diego Branch prepared a variety of homemade Chinese traditional foods for the event and organized a charity sale to raise funds in support of the “Library with Love” project, aimed at shipping books from the US to East Africa and building libraries in Africa.

Our members prepared cold noodles, sticky rice in lotus leaf, egg waffles, green bean cake, white fungus broth, preserved egg congee, red bean cake, chocolate cookies, Chinese flatbread, tea eggs, red bean rice cake, grilled sansages, bean jelly, spiced beef, egg tarts, and individually packed snacks.
