Invited by Bridgewater township Chinese Association and cooperated with AYLUS Bridgewater, AYLUS Basking Ridge volunteered at Bridgewater township Chinese New Year Celebration at Bridgewater township Senior Center, 455 Somerville Rd, Bridgewater,NJ, 08807.
Before the performance, Yihao, Fred, and Jeremy managed order in the calligraphy area, and after the performance, all volunteers took their positions in the dining area, distributing traditional foods such as dumplings and glutinous rice balls, along with fruits like grapes and oranges. They also ensured the cleanliness of the tables by continuously clearing trash.
Once all activities concluded, Yihao communicated with the event leader to confirm any needed assistance. Then, Yihao, Yixuan and Jeremy worked together to dismantle the stage and helped return all stage decorations to the organizers, Finally, all volunteers assisted the organizers in transporting props to an outdoor vehicle, successfully completing their volunteer service for the day. Our members got great feedback from both Bridgewater township Chinese Association and AYLUS Beidgewater.
