On February 26, 2026, volunteer members of Aylus gathered at the Great Neck Station Library for their bi-weekly tutoring session. The evening was very productive; the tutors and tutees worked cohesively to make the most of the hour. A plethora of subjects were covered including mathematics, biology, etc. For instance, Ivy Li helped an eighth grader with their math homework. They collaborated to cover a number of topics, such as slope and linear functions. Siwoo Song helped his tutee with science; they focused specifically on genetics and solving punnet squares. Furthermore, Linzi Yeung helped a fifth grader complete their math worksheets regarding the summation of multiplication of decimals. Similarly, Brian Zhang and Junlin Yu both aided their tutees with complex algebraic expressions. Overall the session was a major success thanks to the efforts of volunteers and students.
