This year, Lunar New Year falls in mid-February. As part of the Lunar New Year tradition, red envelopes symbolizing good luck and prosperity are distributed at each celebration event. In preparation, our volunteers assembled 1,000 red envelopes for multiple Lunar New Year events in Pearland. They purchased chocolate coins and carefully packaged them inside the envelopes for distribution. In addition, volunteers prepared small horse-themed giveaways to celebrate the Year of the Horse.
