On February 8th, 2026, AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch members made origami pieces for patients. For hours, our volunteers worked with dedication and compassion, meticulously crafting beautiful origami pieces. Each creation was made with love, as everyone aimed to bring a moment of comfort and joy to those enduring the challenges of sickness.
We believe these thoughtful gifts will provide not only a visual reminder of kindness but also a source of hope and strength for the recipients. In a world that can often feel overwhelming, our hope is that these small tokens of support will make a meaningful impact, brightening their days and offering a sense of connection and comfort.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Eli Tan (6 hours), Daniel Liu (6 hours), Irena Gao (2 hours), Alwin Liu (6 hours), Linda Liuxiao (3 hours).
