On Sunday February 8th 2026 at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink, from 2:15-3:15 volunteers of the AYLUS Therapeutic Skating Program skated with children participating in the program.
Every volunteer was paired with a skater, giving them support and helping them on the ice. Today we also see new faces who just join the program. The volunteers made the experience fun and safe for each skater. During the time they had with each skater, the volunteers encouraged each skater to try and learn new things based on their student’s skill level. They have learned several different skills so far and they have been practicing so well. I am very proud of all of the skaters.
The skaters and volunteers had fun together, and we’re all appreciative of everyone who participated in this event and took part in making it a wonderful experience. See all of you next week
